Four cyber start-up companies pitched venture capitalists at Boston’s newest
cybersecurity event

Boston, Mass. – October 5, 2017 – Infosecurity Group, the founders of Europe’s no.1
information security event, is pleased to announce Inky as the Infosecurity North America Cyber
Start-up Company of the Year 2017. Four start-ups competed today during Infosecurity North
America 2017 Expo and Conference, presenting their elevator pitches to a judging panel of
venture capitalists.

Inky is the creator of Inky Phish Fence — a next generation phishing protection solution built on
machine learning technologies. Inky Phish Fence protects users from so-called “deep sea”
phishing emails that use clever tricks and realistic looking branding elements to fool both users
and traditional mail protection software.

“Winning Cyber Start-up Company of the Year validates the work my team has been putting in
to develop Inky Fish Fence,” said Inky CEO Dave Baggett. “It’s exciting to be leading a winning
team that is innovating and creating at such a fast pace.”

The venture capitalists who judged the competition include:
● Greg Dracon , Partner, .406 Ventures
● Rick Grinnell , Founder and Managing Partner, Glasswing Ventures
● Mark Hatfield , Partner & Founder, Ten Eleven Ventures

John Hyde, Exhibition Director said, ”We are dedicated to fostering innovation and creation in
the cybersecurity industry. It is wonderful to see such a high calibre of start-up companies
emerging, and Inky is a wonderful example of a growing, thriving start-up that is making a
difference in the community
